Special backslash combinations

Backslash isn't only used for removing the special meaning of other meta characters. Its also used to give non-special characters a special meaning.

\t is a tab character
\n is a newline character
\d is any digit
\D is any non-digit
\s is a whitespace character
\S is any non-whitespave character
