  1. How the error looks like: http://take.ms/JlloB (it may say soft-bounce or hard-bounce, depending on the reason why this happened)

  2. Possible reasons for a soft-bounce:

    • Mailbox is full (over quota).
    • Recipient email server is down or offline.
    • Email message is too large.

  3. Possible reasons for a hard-bounce:

    • Recipient email address does not exist.
    • Domain name does not exist.
    • Recipient email server has completely blocked delivery.

  4. In case this happens to a user please ask him to check the reasons above from his end then get back to us if it persists.
