Recommended Linux distros for developers that are not hardcore geeks:
Linux Mint
Ubuntu
elementary OS
Zorin OS
openSuse
For old PCs (or Ubuntu? -guide):
Puppy Linux (small. fast. also portable)
Stable distros (allegedly):
**Downfalls of Linux:** - no Adobe software support (have to use virtualbox to run Photoshop, for example)
