check and use amd graphics
Your drivers are already perfectly set up (thats the benefit of open source / free drivers  ) For the desktop interface, the intel chip is more then enough. For programs that significantly gain advantages when running on the dedicated card, you need to use Prime. Terminology: DRI_PRIME=1 %command% you can check it with DRI_PRIME=1 glxgears -info and a simple glxgears -info for difference. The first one should display and run the information of your AMD card, the second one of your intel card. You can modify the launcher of programs that you want to run on the dedicated cards, for example with the strategy game 0ad: Change the launcher from “0ad” to DRI_PRIME=1 0ad For Steam, you need to right click on the game that you want to use on the dedicated card, select “properties”, then “set launch options”, and there enter DRI_PRIME=1 %command% You need to do that for each game. Running steam itself with Prime will cause problems.
